Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 was started in October this year, along with the flagship-grade bezel-less smartphone includes quite a few highlights such as the magnetic slider mechanism to conceal the double front cameras, also a double vertical camera installation, and a real bezel-less display with no top notch. In the time of launch, Xiaomi had confirmed that a 5G version of this Mi Mix 3 will arrive next year. Now, Xiaomi President Lin Bin has shared a picture displaying off the Mi Mix 3 running to a 5G network. The sharing of the picture does not imply the Mi MIX 3 5G version launch will probably be sooner than expected, even though it does build expectancy.
The Xiaomi president also has shared the image on Weibo, hinting at an imminent launching shortly. When you look closely at the picture, the top right border displays a 5G logo indicating that the phone is linked to a 5G network. At the left edge, there is also an Android Pie logo suggesting that the smartphone will find an Android Pie update soon as well. To remember, in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 launch, the company had declared a 5G version of this smartphone would be launched for the European marketplace in 2019.
Apart from the image, the Xiaomi executive has not shared any other specifics of the smartphone.

Aside from Xiaomi, OnePlus has also confirmed that it is going to launch a 5G smartphone next year. OnePlus spokesperson earlier confirmed that the OnePlus 7 will not have 5G enabled to keep the breaking competitive. Instead, the company is going to maintain its promise of 5G by launch a separate series ancient 2019. It is still a mystery whether OnePlus will start this phone together with the OnePlus 7 or launch it earlier on in a different event. It is theorized that OnePlus could establish the 5G device in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) at Barcelona.
