Sony just launched the Xperia XZ3 in IFA in August, and it looks to be working on bringing a Fresh mid-range Xperia XA3 series to the market.
The Sony Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra have been leaked in videos and leaves hinting in an impending launch. Both the devices are seen sporting a comparable layout language with thin chins at the top and bottom, and slight bezels on the left and right borders. In the back, both the devices sport a dual camera set piled. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted, as noticed on previous Sony devices also, and the specifications of the two versions have also been leaked in detail.
Both the devices sport a similar layout, though the Ultra variant has a larger display. As mentioned, the 2 phones sport thin bezels on the top and underside chin, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor involving the power and volume rockers, and a dual camera setup at the rear stacked horizontally. The Sony and Xperia logos are embossed in the back too. The 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top edge, while the speakers sit in the bottom edge of the device.
Coming to the specifications, the report notes the Sony Xperia XA3 will run on Android Pie from their box, and sport a 5.9-inch (1080×2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s tipped to be powered with the Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, paired with 6GB RAM. Internal storage has been tipped to be at 64GB. The Xperia XA3 will measure in 155.7×68.3×8.4mm.
The report says the Xperia XA3 and XA3 Ultra can launch from the fourth quarter of 2018 or in CES 2019 in January.
