Nokia 9 PureView Receiving Its First Update With March Security Patch, Camera Improvements

Packing the March Android Security Patch, the upgrade is now accessible and will automatically reach the Nokia 9 PureView owners. The upgrade is only available in the US right now. To remember, HMD Global had unveiled the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress 2019 at Barcelona. The phone is now available in the United States.

Founded in a tweet by Juho Sarvikas, who’s the chief product officer in HMD Global, the software update is approximately 282MB in dimension. Sarvikas had earlier mentionedthe telephone will also bring several improvements linked to the picture tuning into the Nokia 9 PureView. The update rollout originally began on March 4.

As all software upgrades are published in batches, the Nokia 9 PureView might take a few days to reach users. But if you don’t need to wait for the upgrade notification, it is possible to attempt to manually look for the upgrade by going to Settings > About Phone > System upgrades .

There is still no word on when HMD Global plans to launch the Nokia 9 PureView in India. The phone features five back cameras with Zeiss certified lenses, which are linked with three 12-megapixel monochrome detectors and two 12-megapixel RGB sensors. There is also a 20-megapixel selfie shot on the telephone.
