These brand new emojis consist of emotive smiley faces, gender-neutral characters, various clothing choices, food types, animals, mythical creatures, and more. “New emoji personalities are made based on the approved characters in Unicode 11.0 and Apple is working together with the Unicode Consortium to include more disability-themed emoji into the keyboard for Unicode 12.0, slated for launch in 2019,” the firm wrote in a blog post late on Tuesday.

The new emojis include characters such as moon cake, red present envelope, nazar amulet, softball, luggage, compass, a hiking boot to accompany the existing climbing emoji, llama, mosquito, swan, raccoon and cupcake amongst others. The brand new characters would also consist of emojis with reddish hair, grey hair, curly hair, a brand new emoji for bald people, more emotive smiley faces and emojis representing animals, food and sports.

Other attributes part of the iOS 12.1 beta variant are Group FaceTime, eSIM support, and a fix for the charging difficulty the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were facing on the build.
