Apple is expected to launch new iPhone Versions next month, but as usual, the rumours are still pouring in from all corners.Apple iPhone X Plus May Come With iPad-Like Landscape Mode, iOS 12 Beta HintsWhile much about the 2018 iPhone family has been leaked, one of the rumours for the newest versions is the Cupertino giant might be intending to introduce a 6.5-inch version, considerably larger than the current iPhone X version. Apart from the change in screen dimensions, a new report suggests that there might be changes in terms of software operation where the handset may include iPad-like landscape mode support. The current iPhone X version is 5.8-inch in dimension and doesn’t encourage a landscape mode, but only supports restricted program interfaces in this manner. The new report based on evidence found in iOS 12 Beta also reaffirms that one of the 2018 iPhone versions will feature a display resolution of 1242×2688 pixels.
As per a report in Brazilian website iHelpBR, the current beta version of iOS 12 and XCode suggest that the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus will include a landscape style. Apple on Tuesday introduced the fifth programmer beta of iOS 12 for harmonious iPhone and iPad versions. The people at iHelpBR forced the iOS Simulator tool to run in a resolution of 1242×2688 pixels with 458ppi and discovered that many native programs are adapted from portrait mode to landscape mode. Stock programs like Contacts, Calendar, and Messages have been found to be optimized to get a broader landscape layout. This hints at Apple’s intends to treat the iPhone X Plus as it does with the other large-display products, taking advantage of a bigger screen. It also reaffirms previously rumoured 1242×2688 resolution.

In comparison, Apple’s current 5.8-inch iPhone X consumers an 1125×2436 pixels resolution but it doesn’t support landscape mode, even though it has a larger screen than the iPhone 8 Plus. The lack of a landscape design has been a problem that lots of iPhone X users face, but that is a difficulty that the company seems to solve the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus. However, there is absolutely no advice on whether the attribute will also be available for the other versions that are expected to launch this season.

Apple is preparing to release a trio of new smartphones after this season: the largest iPhone ever, an updated handset the same size as the recent iPhone X and a less costly version with a number of the flagship phone’s key capabilities. The three iPhone variations this season could be a 6.5-inch OLED model, a 6.1-inch LCD model, plus a 5.8-inch OLED version
